Realme has launched its long-awaited flagship smartphone, the GT5 Pro in China. The Realme GT5 Pro is a high-end smartphone that packs all the latest tech. It comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which also powers recently launched flagships such as OnePlus 12, iQOO 12, and Xiaomi 14 as well. Speaking of GT5 Pro’s India launch, Realme has not given any confirmation on it. However, its predecessor, the Realme GT4 Pro was not launched in India.
This is the comparison of the Realme GT5 Pro with the OnePlus 12. Let’s see how both these smartphones compete with each other.
In terms of design, Realme has changed the whole design of its GT Pro model this year. We have a big circular camera ring now. This consists of a triple-camera setup and an LED flash. But wait, didn’t we see this same design somewhere else? Yes, we do. The back panel of Realme GT5 Pro is quite identical to the back panel of the Oppo Find X6 Pro. Further, the GT5 Pro comes with a curved design and three colour options. This includes White, Orange, and Black. The black variant features an AG glass back, while the other two have a leather back. On the front, there is a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
Coming to the OnePlus 12, here, it’s the opposite. While the GT5 Pro comes with a new design, the OnePlus 12 does not differ much from its predecessor. It also has a circular camera module on the back, which sits on top of a bezel that is attached to the side frame. The OnePlus 12 also features a curved design and is available in three colours; Green, Black, and White. There is also a punch-hole cutout at the centre for the selfie shooter.
