The wait is over as Realme has finally announced the launch date of its much-awaited Realme GT5 Pro smartphone model. The company has released a new teaser on the Chinese micro-blogging platform Weibo which revealed the launch date of the GT5 Pro in China.
The teaser revealed that the Realme GT5 Pro smartphone model will debut in China on December 7, reports MySmartPrice.

The Realme GT5 Pro’s launch event will go live at 2 PM (UTC + 8) and will be streamed through the company’s social media accounts.

Realme has released a teaser for its launch event featuring an image of a periscope sensor, emphasising the smartphone’s zoom capabilities.
The upcoming GT5 Pro smartphone will house a 50MP Sony IMX 890 periscope telephoto sensor. This advanced sensor will support Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) functionalities.
Also, the smartphone will feature a sizable 1/1.56-inch sensor size, offering 2.7x optical zoom capability and support for a 120x digital zoom.
The upcoming Realme GT5 Pro smartphone will have the capability to shoot in RAW mode. Additionally, both the primary and periscope telephoto lenses will be capable of capturing DOL-HDR images.
Moreover, the upcoming smartphone model will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Recently, Realme CMO Francis Wong shared on Weibo that the GT5 Pro will usher in a “new era of low-light telephoto images,” suggesting significant improvements in nighttime telephoto photography capabilities. In a separate post, he mentioned that the company successfully implemented 240W fast charging in the Realme GT5 Pro and that it is now ready to reach a “new peak of flash charge” with the upcoming GT5 Pro.
