Smartphone manufacturer Realme seems to be working on its latest offering, the Realme GT Neo5 series. It is believed that this series will offer two models, the Realme GT Neo5 and the Realme GT Neo5T. Already, we’ve begun hearing rumours about the charging capabilities of these smartphones, with the Realme GT Neo5 believed to offer 240W fast charging support.
The noted tipster, Digital Chat Station recently revealed on Weibo that the smartphone will be available in two variants – one that offers 150W fast charging support and another that offers 240W fast charging support. It is believed that the handset that offers 150W fast charging will be equipped with a dual-cell 5,000mAh battery (BLP985). On the other hand, the handset that offers 240W fast charging is rumoured to be equipped with a dual-cell 4,600mAh battery (BLP987). The latter is still awaiting its BIS certification, and there is absolutely no indication of when the smartphone will launch in India.
The Realme GT Neo5 is rumoured to have a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is believed that this smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9-series processor. Additionally, the Realme GT Neo5 may come with a 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP/32MP selfie camera.
As indicated by rumours on Weibo, the Realme GT Neo5 is believed to pack a 5,000mAh battery for the 150W fast-charging variant. It may have a 4,600mAh battery for the 240W fast-charging variant. Finally, it is also believed that the smartphone will run on the Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 skin.
It is believed that the Realme GT Neo5 series will launch in 2023, presumably in the first quarter of the year. However, the company has not confirmed these allegations as of yet.
