Update: Realme has shared the press invite confirming the Indian launch of GT 2 Pro on April 7 at 12:30 PM and claims this being the world's first smartphone with a TCO 9.0 certification for its novel bio-based polymer design.
In a recent tweet promoting the Paper Tech Master Design of the upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro, the company had mentioned, “Launching on 7th April, 12:30 PM.” The tweet has been removed now but that apparently accidental revelation gave us the Realme GT 2 Pro India launch date. Well, it has been confirmed now. There is no mention of the regular Realme GT 2 in the media invite.
Still, here we are giving you a broad strokes of the two phones based on the global Realme GT 2 series' specifications.
Realme GT 2 Pro comes with 6.7-inch LTPO2 AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 3216x1440p resolution, 10-bit color depth, HDR10+, 1,400 nits of peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus.

The processor at work is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, bolstered by up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A 5000mAh battery keeps the lights on with support from a 65W fast charging adapter.
The paraphernalia also comprise of 5G, Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0, a nine-layer Stainless Steel Vapour Cooling Max tech, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and an in-screen fingerprint reader.
