Realme has teased the launch of the Realme GT 2 series through its Twitter account. The tweet reads, “The wait is over! Arriving soon in India and it’s going to be. #GreaterThanYouSee. Stay tuned!”
The Realme GT 2 and the Realme GT 2 Pro debuted in China back in January and after a few months, the two phones should be reaching the Indian shores soon. The Pro model could come bearing the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and the Realme GT 2 is likely to have a slightly older Snapdragon 888 chip.
Realme GT 2 Pro has got a 6.7-inch LTPO 2 AMOLED with 2K resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour depth, 1400nits of brightness, HDR10+ support, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The cameras include a 32MP selfie snapper and a 50MP+50MP+3MP triplet at the back. The innards comprise a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Android 12 OS, and a 5000mAh battery with 65W charging support.
Realme GT 2, on the other hand, has a 6.62-inch AMOLED with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits of brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 shield. The camera on the front is a 32MP shooter while by the back, it holds a 50MP+8MP+2MP troika. Internally, you are getting a Snapdragon 888, Android 12 software, and a 5000mAh with 65W adapter support.
Realme GT 2 series India teaser
In its home market, the Realme GT 2 Pro starts at €749 (~₹63,075) for the 8+128GB variant. The vanilla GT 2 costs €549 (~₹46,230) for the 8+128GB unit.
