Realme has confirmed the launch of a new phone, revealing key specifications about it in the process. While the company has not confirmed the name of the device, it is expected to be the Realme 8s. The company has confirmed that this device will be a Flipkart exclusive, and will also become the first Dimensity 810 powered phone soon.

The phone is expected to be launched alongside the Realme 8i and the Realme Pad. The launch date for the phones is not mentioned yet, but since the company has already started teasing the phones, it can be expected that the Realme 8s and Realme 8i will be announced in September.

The new phone is set to be sold via Flipkart with the e-commerce website already setting up a microsite for the device. The microsite reveals the phone will be a 5G smartphone and will also be the world's first to feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset. This chipset was unveiled earlier in the year, and at the time was announced to come with dual 5G stand-by, Cortex-A76 CPU cores clocked at 2.4GHz alongside Cortex-A55 cores for power-efficient tasks. The chip also gets a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. There is also support for up to LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
