In terms of pricing, the smartphone is rumoured to be a mid-ranger that could be priced starting below Rs 10,000 and go up to Rs 15,000 for the topmost variant. The company has said that the handset will be the first to bring the large display with a notch at such a price point.

Just recently, images the Realme 2 were accidentally made live on the company’s website. As per the photos, the smartphone might feature a fingerprint sensor on the rear this time. The feature was missing from its predecessor, the Realme 1 (review). The upcoming smartphone is also expected to feature the same faceted design on its rear panel, which was used on its predecessor and the OPPO F7 Diamond Black edition. The images revealed black and blue colour variants of the device.

However, rumours suggest that the handset might offer similar configuration as the Oppo F7 and come equipped with a 6.23-inch Full HD+ display. It was previously speculated to be powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 SoC but the company recently tweeted that it will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon process. The device is tipped to feature a 16MP + 2MP rear camera setup.
