Realme is said to getting ready for the launch of a new mid-range smartphone series. This will be the Realme 12 series, which will reportedly include three models. The three models are the Realme 12, Realme 12 Pro, and Realme 12 Pro Plus. However, the brand has not come up with anything about the Realme 12 series yet. But a new leak suggests the hardware of the Realme 12 series. Let’s check it out.
A known tipster on Weibo, Digital Chat Station has revealed the chipsets of all three smartphones. The Realme 12 series is said to be powered by the latest Qualcomm’s mid-range chipset, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Speaking of its specifications, this latest chipset boasts a prime core clocked at 2.63GHz, three performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz, and four efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz.

Not just that, a while back, the tipster also hinted at the camera details of the top model (Realme 12 Pro Plus) and the middle child (Realme 12 Pro). The Realme 12 Pro Plus is expected to be equipped with a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B Periscope Telephoto sensor. This would give the smartphone up to 3x optical zoom capabilities. Furthermore, the Realme 12 Pro is said to feature a Sony IMX709 sensor with 2x optical zoom.

Previously, Digital Chat Station also speculated on the price of Realme 12. He stated that it could launch in China at a price of CNY 2000, which is approximately ₹23,000. However, its predecessor, the Realme 11 launched in India at a starting price of ₹18,999. Speaking of the Pro variants, the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro Plus debuted in India at a price of ₹23,999 and ₹27,999.
