Realme has just dropped its latest Realme 12 Pro series. This mid-range smartphone series includes two smartphones; the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus. In this article, we will compare the Realme 12 Pro Plus with the Poco X6 Pro. The latter is also a recent smartphone that was launched in January as well. Both smartphones are equipped with some really good latest tech.
Let’s quickly compare these two smartphones and let’s see which one is more worth it.
The Realme 12 Pro Plus is equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports 10-bit colour and up to 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Poco X6 Pro features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 68 billion colour and a 120Hz refresh rate. Speaking of the brightness, the Realme 12 Pro Plus has 950 nits of peak brightness, whereas, Poco claims 1800 nits of peak brightness in the X6 Pro. Moreover, Poco also offers the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with its smartphone.

The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 powers the Realme 12 Pro Plus. The processor is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Speaking of the Poco X6 Pro, it packs a more powerful processor and bigger storage as well. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Both smartphones run on Android 14-based skin. The Realme UI 5.0 for the Realme 12 Pro Plus, and HyperOS for the Poco X6 Pro.
In terms of the camera, I would like to go with the Realme 12 Pro Plus. This is because it features a 50-megapixel OIS main camera, a 64-megapixel Periscope Telephoto sensor, and an 8-megapixel Ultrawide lens.
The Poco X6 Pro also has a triple camera setup, holding a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel Ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel Macro sensor.
On the front as well, the Realme 12 Pro Plus has a better 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The Poco X6 Pro sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The battery configuration in both smartphones is the same. Both of them are packed with a 5000mAh battery with 67-watt fast charging support.
Realme launched the Realme 12 Pro Plus in India at a starting price of ₹29,999. However, the Poco X6 Pro 5G, which is comparatively better, was launched at a starting price of ₹26,999. Both smartphones are available for purchase on Flipkart.
