Qualcomm's upcoming flagship SoC is tipped to come with an octa-core configuration, and reportedly scored 181434 on AnTuTu benchmark.

Qualcomm’s next flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 835, has been spotted on GFXBench benchmarks. As per the listing, the upcoming SoC sports an octa-core configuration clocked at up to 2.2GHz and an Adreno 540 GPU. Further, the SoC is being tested on an unknown device with a 5.9-inch QHD display, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The device is based on Android Nougat, and sports a 20MP camera.

After being spotted on GFXBench, the device was also benchmarked on AnTuTu. As per a report by AndroidPure, the phone posted an impressive score of 181434. By comparison, devices sporting the Snapdragon 821 SoC like the Pixel and ZenFone 3 Deluxe scored 142580 and 146334, respectively, in our tests. Further, the Apple iPhone 7 with the A10 Fusion SoC managed to scored 178,398 on AnTuTu.

Qualcomm has already confirmed the name of the chipset, but hasn’t yet revealed details about the SoC. The company has only said that the phone will utilise Samsung’s 10nm FinFET manufacturing process, and will feature Quick Charge 4 standards.
