Nokia’s got serious issues when it comes to keeping its prototypes under wraps! After the 41MP Lumia got leaked in all its glory, now we’re seeing reports that Nokia might have a quad-core Lumia phone in the works.
GFXBench has just benchmarked a Nokia phone which has a quad-core processor, a Qualcomm Adreno 305 GPU, a 1280×720 pixel display, and runs Windows Phone 8. This particular device could very well be running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset. Up until now, we’ve only seen dual-core devices in the WP8 portfolio, with many users wanting a quad-core solution as well.
We have seen that Nokia is already ready with the 41 megapixel Lumia phone, which they might be announcing on the July 11 event. There is also rumours of a phone-tablet that might be in the works.
There is certainly no way to know what specific device is revealed on GFXBench, but it could be the phone-tablet, or a completely new Lumia.
