Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco will soon unveil the successor to its X series in India. The launch is scheduled for January 9, 2025. The series will include the Poco X7 5G and the Poco X7 Pro 5G. These smartphones will target the mid-range smartphone market in India. Ahead of the launch, Poco has started to tease the design and key features of the upcoming X series. Let’s take a look at what we know so far about the Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro.

Poco X7 Pro expected specifications

On the design front, the Poco X7 Pro is expected to get a sleek rear panel that can feature a dual black and yellow fusion design. It can feature a camera module inspired by the camera on the iPhone 16. The Poco X7 Pro can feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1.5K and an up to 120Hz refresh rate. We can even expect a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the front. It can run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset. For cameras, the Poco X7 Pro is expected to feature a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS. Lastly, the upcoming smartphone is expected to pack a 6,000mAh battery.

Unlike the Pro version, the Poco X7 is expected to get a square-shaped camera module with rounded edges. It can feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It can be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chip. Poco X7 can also feature a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS. Lastly, it can get a smaller 5,110mAh battery.

A dedicated microsite on Flipkart confirmed that both of these smartphones will be available for purchase on the e-commerce platform.
