Poco to launch the Poco F5 and F5 Pro on May 9: Specs, features and more

Poco is all set to launch the Poco F5 smartphone series in the Indian market on May 9. The company has confirmed the launch date and also that the device will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor and can be bought from Flipkart exclusively.
A micro-site for the Poco F5 is already live on Flipkart, revealing a white colour option. The teaser on Flipkart also confirmed that the Poco F5 will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo from China.
Poco F5 and F5 Pro leaked specifications
The POCO F5 was spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database which revealed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor in the Poco F5. The device might be a rebranded Redmi Note 12 Turbo from China and is expected to come with an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Along with that, the smartphone could boast a 5000mAh battery with 67-watt fast charging support and a triple rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel unknown sensor.
In addition to the POCO F5, POCO Global will also launch the POCO F5 Pro for global markets on May 9. The POCO F5 Pro is expected to be a rebranded Redmi K60 from China and is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
POCO F5 Prices
Yogesh Brar has tipped the Indian pricing for the base variant of the POCO F5, which could be between ₹28,000 to ₹29,000. However, it is unclear if this pricing includes launch offers or if additional offers will be available. POCO India Head Himanshu Tandon announced that the POCO F5 will launch in two configurations – 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB – after conducting a survey on Twitter.
