Speculations suggest the launch could feature the POCO C75 5G.

Leaks hint at a 50 MP camera, Snapdragon 4s Gen 2, and a 5,160 mAh battery.

POCO is preparing to launch a new smartphone this month. This comes after Himanshu Tandon, POCO’s Country Head, posted a teaser hinting at a new phone launch. However, aside from the launch date, the company has not revealed any other details about the upcoming POCO phone.

Taking to X, Tandon shared that the new POCO phone would debut on December 17. “Some whispers say two’s a crowd, but at POCO, it’s double the madness. Any guesses on what’s stirring? #DoubleTheMystery,” he wrote.

Can it be POCO C75 5G?

According to recent reports, the next smartphone could be the POCO C75 5G variant. However, we will have to wait a few more days to learn more about the device. It is worth noting that the POCO C75 is already accessible in the global market, but it will most likely be rebranded as Redmi A4 in India, claims a report.

If the reports are believed to be true, the smartphone can make its debut with a 6.88-inch HD+ panel. Under the hood, the smartphone may draw its power from the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 processor. It may feature up to 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. We may see an expandable memory and virtual RAM in the phone. The smartphone may come backed by a 5,160 mAh battery with 18W fast charging and may run on Android 14-based HyperOS.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphone may feature a 50 MP primary shooter along with a 2MP depth camera. For selfies, the smartphone may get a 5MP front-facing camera.

It is advised that the readers take the updates with a pinch of salt as POCO has not confirmed the name, specifications, and other details about the device at the time of writing this article. It could be possible that POCO may introduce a new device in some other series.
