Poco has announced an Airtel-exclusive version of its Poco M6 5G handset. For those who are unaware, Poco M6 5G was launched in India last year. According to the company, the Airtel-exclusive version of the Poco M6 5G will be the “most affordable 5G phone” in India.
The Poco M6 5G locked with Airtel Prepaid will be available in India from March 10th at ₹8,799.

Himanshu Tandon, Country Head of Poco India, teased this device on X earlier this week, and said: “POCO X Airtel’ another partnership! Coming soon!”

Replying to a user, Tandon also said, “Special Airtel variant at most affordable price ever. Making it the most affordable 5G device in the market.”
Let’s see the specifications of the Poco M6 5G smartphone. The Poco M6 5G features a 17.12cm(6.74) HD+ display. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G processor.
For photography, the M6 5G houses a 50MP main camera, and features a 5MP front camera.
It comes packed with a 5000mAh battery unit that supports 18W fast charging. The handset ships with Android 13.
The Poco M6 5G smartphone model comes in two colour options: Galactic Black and Orion Blue.
In related news, Poco is also expected to launch the Poco X6 Neo handset in India by next week. This device will likely be priced under ₹16,000 and could be available in different RAM and storage configurations.
The standout feature of this smartphone model is expected to be its design, targeting Gen Z customers. The rear panel of the Poco X6 Neo handset could showcase a flat design adorned with an interesting pattern similar to the Redmi Note 13R Pro device.
It is expected that the X6 Neo will sport a dual-camera setup accompanied by an LED flash. Additionally, the left side of the device will likely house the volume controls and power on/off buttons.
For photography, this device could house a 108MP rear camera. Furthermore, it might come packed with a 5,000mAh battery.
