Poco India is going to launch a new smartphone called Poco M5 4G. The company has teased in a Twitter post that, “M is bringing the Sexy back,” along with a G99 image. Now that’s a hint towards MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset. That aside, the brand hasn’t divulged much. However, thanks to previous leaks and rumors, we can make some guesses. Let’s do just that.

Poco M5 4G could be flaunting a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution.
Under the hood, as said before, the processor will be MediaTek’s Helio G99. This could be paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. Poco could stow in a 5000mAh battery featuring 33W fast charging.
Among other things, the Poco phone could also bag dual SIM 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth v5.0, and Android 12-based MIUI software.
We are yet to learn anything about its cameras. But as soon as we have those details, you will be the first to know.

Poco is expected to unveil the M5 4G in September in India at a starting price of less than ₹15,000. Again, these are just speculations at the moment. So, take them with a grain of salt.
