Poco is expected to launch a mid-range smartphone in India next year and the smartphone is Poco F6. The Poco F6 has cleared the BIS Certification in India. Interestingly, the Poco F6 is said to launch in India as the rebranded version of the Redmi K70, which will launch in China exclusively. The Redmi K70 launch is expected to happen in November. Moving on, let’s dig into it more.
A Poco device was spotted on the BIS certification by an X user, Yash. It was listed on the website with the model number 2311DRK481. However, this listing did not reveal the name of this smartphone, but the tipster believes it could be the Poco F6. He also added that the smartphone could launch in India in the first quarter of 2024, which is from January to March. In the same post, he also mentioned that the Poco F6 might be the rebranded version of the Redmi K70.

This is not the first time the Poco F6 has been spotted somewhere. It previously appeared on the IMEI database with the same model number, 2311DRK481. Redmi and Poco have done this before, so no wonder they could launch Redmi’s latest K series smartphone with the Poco branding.
Redmi K70 tipped specifications
Speaking of the specifications, neither of the brands has disclosed it yet. However, the Redmi K70 Pro appeared on the Geekbench listing, which revealed that the smartphone could have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 paired with 16GB RAM. It also revealed that the smartphone will run on Android 14 OS.
Now, we don’t know whether the Redmi K70 Pro will make it to India or not but last year the Redmi K60 Pro featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which was the latest at that time (just how Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is currently). And the standard variant was powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which was second from the top. According to that cycle, we could expect the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the Redmi K70 or should I say in the Poco F6?

Furthermore, the smartphone also appeared on China’s 3C listing. That listing revealed a 90-watt fast charging support.
