Poco is just a few days away from launching its new entry-level smartphone, Poco C51. The smartphone is expected to come with entry-level configurations and it will reportedly be priced under ₹10,000. Poco launches entry-level smartphones in the C series and this smartphone might be the rebranded version of Redmi A2 Plus, which was launched last week in select countries.
Fonarena spotted the smartphone in a promotional poster on Flipkart but later it was removed. The tech website has taken screenshots which suggest the specifications of the upcoming Poco C51.
The Poco C51 is expected to come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will reportedly come with a plastic body with a leather-like pattern. It is rumoured to have a square camera module on the back with a dual camera setup and a flash. It will launch in two colours that are Blue and Black, according to the leaks.
Poco C51 is rumoured to feature a 6.52-inch LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display will reportedly have a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
Poco C51 will be reportedly powered by the Mediatek Helio G36 chipset coupled with up to 3GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 32GB of eMMC 5.1 onboard storage, which is expandable to up to 1TB via a microSD card. The Poco C51 might run on the Android 13 Go Edition operating system.
Poco C51 could feature a dual camera setup on the back holding an 8-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and along with that it has one more sensor which is not revealed yet. On the front, it could sport a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
The Poco C51 is expected to arrive in India on April 7. The launch of the phone is held at 12 pm. It will be available on Flipkart for purchase and will be priced under ₹10,000, according to the leaks.
