[RELATED_ARTICLE]The PlayStation Phone has finally been spotted, at least a prototype, and it’s looking good… Specifications have also come rolling in, and they seem to match earlier rumours about the device. It’s said to be sporting a vanilla version of the Android 3.0 (aka Gingerbread) operating system, and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor. The PlayStation Phone also has 512MB of RAM, and 1GB of ROM. The exact size of the screen has not been determined yet, though it looks to be in the range of 3.7 to 4.1-inches.
Other features include a multi-touch trackpad, shoulder buttons, and, support for microSD cards. The Sony Ericsson PlayStation Phone is rumoured to arrive by the end of 2010, though early 2011 looks to be a more distinct possibility, after Google officially unveils the Gingerbread operating system.
