OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 2.2.1 update for OnePlus X. The update fixes a data leak issue when roaming, and microphone being mute when using Google Hangouts. It also fixes a problem of the app drawer not launching, when the Google search bar is hidden. In addition, the update includes GMS 3.0 upgrade and APN update to support the carrier, Tigo. OxygenOS 2.2.1 also adds general bug fixes and improvements. OnePlus has stated that the OTA update for OnePlus X will be rolled out in phases

It is still not known when will the OnePlus X receive Android Marshmallow updates. Back in November, the company had said that the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 would be getting the Marshmallow update in Q1 2016. The company didn’t mention when the update would be available for the OnePlus X, but said that it was working hard to roll out the update as soon as possible. OnePlus 2 also received the OxygenOS 3.0 beta for Android Marshmallow, recently.
