The new Oppo F1S is expected to have an improved front camera, given that the company is teasing the device as a 'selfie expert'
[Update] Oppo has been teasing the device on social media for a few days and has confirmed some of the features of the phone. The device will feature a 16MP front facing camera, Beautify 4.0, fingerprint sensor, and 2.5D glass.
Oppo has released a new teaser for its upcoming smartphone, the Oppo F1S. Although the teaser image does not show the device, it reveals that the company is focussing on making it a ‘selfie expert’. The teaser also reveals the August 3 launch date of the selfie-centric smartphone.
Back in January, Oppo had launched the F1 smartphone. The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android Lollipop v5.1 with ColorOS 2.1 layered over it. It’s equipped with a 5-inch 2.5D HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC clocked at 1.7GHz with 3GB of RAM. The Oppo F1 also comes with a 2500mAh battery and 16GB of onboard storage that can be expanded by up to 128GB via a microSD card.
