Oppo launched the Reno2 series smartphones in India a couple of weeks ago. It appears like the Chinese smartphone maker is planning to extend the Reno series devices. Oppo Reno Ace will launch in India next month. The information was revealed by Oppo’s vice president, Shen Yiren who said that the company will launch the Oppo Reno Ace smartphone with a 90Hz display refresh rate in October 2019. Now, Shen has shared a little more regarding the charging technology of Oppo Reno Ace.

Shen shared the information on his Weibo profile but didn’t go into the details. However, he mentioned that SuperVOOC technology will support 65W fast charging. This would be faster than the current 50W SuperVOOC. Oppo Reno Ace is confirmed to sport a display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 4000mAh battery. No other details are known about the smartphone as of now. 

Meanwhile, Oppo launched its Oppo Reno2 series of smartphones in August. The Oppo Reno2 series consists of Oppo Reno2, the Reno2 F and the Reno2 Z handsets. Oppo Reno2 features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset. The smartphone is equipped with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It sports memory expansion via an SDcard slot. 

The Oppo Reno2 comes with gaming-focused features like anti-cheat extensions, optimised Wi-Fi, Game Boost 3.0, Game Assistant, HDR10 gaming support and 25 percent faster graphics rendering in comparison to the predecessor. 

In the optics department, the Oppo Reno2 sports a quad rear camera setup: a 48MP primary camera + a 13MP telephoto lens + an 8MP wide-angle lens + a 2MP mono lens. The phone has 2x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, 20x digital zoom, which also works in video3. It also has a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to enhance different modes like Ultra Dark Mode, Ultra Macro Mode, and Bokeh Mode.

Also, Oppo Reno2 sports the shark-fin rising module with front camera housed in it. The company says it slides out in 0.8 seconds.
