Oppo has launched its latest Oppo Reno 12 series. This includes the vanilla Oppo Reno 12 5G and the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G. After its initial launch in China in May, it has now finally made its way to India. Oppo has promised a variety of AI features along with a strong camera. Let’s see what it has to offer.
The Oppo Reno 12 5G series succeeds the Oppo Reno 11 5G series. The design is what stands out. You get a glossy, shiny finish on both smartphones with a triple camera setup on the rear. The base Oppo Reno 12 5G is offered in three color options: Astro Silver, Matte Brown, and Sunset Peach. The Reno 12 Pro 5G comes in Space Brown and Sunset Gold shades.

The vanilla Oppo Reno 12 5G will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits of peak brightness. You get Gorilla Glass Victus 7i protection with it. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset. It runs on Android 14-based ColorOS 14.1.
Oppo has also introduced the Oppo AI. With that, you will get several AI features like AI Best Face, AI Writer, AI Recording Summary, AI Eraser 2.0, and AI Studio.
On the camera front, you get a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. It also has a 32MP selfie shooter. You get a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support too.
The Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits of peak brightness. It runs on Android 14-based ColorOS 14.1. This Pro model is also powered by the same Dimensity 7300-Energy processor. Here as well, you are getting all Oppo AI features.
For cameras, you get a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and another 50MP telephoto sensor. It has a 50MP selfie shooter too. Lastly, it has a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support too.
