The Oppo Reno 10 Pro and Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ were announced in China yesterday, along with price details – from which we can draw a fair approximation for the India market as well.
As we saw, there’s a small price difference between the two Oppo Reno 10 smartphone models, even though their specifications aren’t that different. Hence it begs the question, why would someone buy a phone at a higher price when they could get a similar phone at a lower price. We compared both phones and try to answer that question for all of you.

Price: The Oppo Reno 10 Pro is priced at ₹42,990 whereas, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ is priced at ₹45,990, when you convert the approximate prices from Chinese Yuan.
Display: Both the phones have AMOLED display with 1240 x 2772 pixels resolution
Chipset: The Chipset stands different for the two phones. The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ is powered by Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Whereas, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 8200.
Memory: Both the phones come with the same RAM and storage variants: 256GB storage+16GB RAM and 512GB storage+16GB RAM
Battery: There is a slight difference in the battery of the two phones. The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ comes with a 4700mAh battery whereas, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro comes packed with 4,600mAh battery. But both have 100W charging support.
Camera: Both the phones have a triple lensed rear camera. For the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ the specifications are 50MP+64MP+8MP. But for the Oppo Reno 10 Pro the specifications are 50MP+32MP+8MP. As for the front camera, both have a 32MP front camera.

So, these are major specifications that we know about the two Oppo phones. The extra 3000 rupees for the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ seems to be charged for a slightly better overall camera module and battery capacity, compared to the Oppo Reno 10 Pro.
