The Oppo R9 might come with a 5.5-inch FHD display with 16MP/13MP cameras, while the R9 Plus may have a 6-inch HD display with 16MP front and rear cameras.
The specifications of the Oppo R9 and R9 Plus have been leaked by Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka @OnLeaks. According to images shared on his twitter account, the Oppo R9 might have a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display and may be powered by an octa-core processor (possibly the MediaTek Helio X10) with 4GB of RAM. The device is tipped be equipped with a 2850mAh battery and 64GB of storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. At the back, it is expected to have a 16MP primary camera with a 13MP front camera.
The Oppo R9 Plus might have a 6-inch Full HD display and may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with 4GB of RAM. The phone is expected to come with a 4120mAh battery and might be available in 64GB and 128GB storage variants. The device is tipped to have 16MP cameras in the front and back. Both devices are expected to come with fingerprint sensors and Oppo’s own VOOC fast charging technology.
A few days ago, launch images of the Oppo R9 and R9 Plus were leaked and suggested that both devices might be announced on March 17 in China. The Oppo R9 has been tipped to be priced at 2,498 yuan (approx. Rs. 25,900). The 64GB variant of the Oppo R9 Plus is expected to be priced at 2,998 yuan (approx. Rs. 31,100), while the 128GB variant might be priced at 3,298 yuan (approx. Rs. 34,100).
