The Oppo R11, the successor to the R9s smartphone is expected to launch on June 10. The smartphone has already been spotted on TENAA and now images of the handset have leaked on Weibo revealing the various colour options and specifications. The leak gives us a good look at the dual-rear camera setup and suggests that the smartphones may be available in Gold, Silver and Black colour options. The Oppo R11 is said to sport a 5.5-inch full HD display along with the Snapdragon 660, Qualcomm's newest mid-range chipset. The handset is also expected to come with 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage. The handset features a 20MP selfie camera, 3000mAh battery and a front mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Oppo R11 Plus, offers pretty much the same set of specifications, but sports a larger 6-inch 1080p display and a 4000mAh battery. The past leaks indicate the dual-rear camera setup used on both devices may include 16MP + 20MP cameras, with support for 2x optical zoom.
There is no word yet on the expected pricing of the Oppo R11 and R11 Plus and it is not yet known if or when the company plans to launch the devices in India. The devices' predecessors, the Oppo R9 and R9s have become one of the best selling Android smartphones globally and has helped Oppo beat its competitors Huawei, Vivo and Xiaomi in its home market of China.
