Oppo N1 Mini with 13MP rotating camera to be unveiled on May 30

Oppo will unveil its N1 Mini, featuring 13 MP rotating camera and a 5 inch display screen, on May 30.

Oppo has announced that it will launch the mini variant of its flagship smartphone, the Oppo N1 Mini on Friday, May 30. The Oppo N1 Mini features the same 13MP rotating camera module as its older sibling.

Some of the features expected in the Oppo N1 Mini, include a 5 inch HD display screen, Bluetooth 4.0 and 4G connectivity. It is expected to have a 2140mAh battery and will come with a 13MP swivel camera that allows it to rotate at 180 degrees. The smartphone comes with a software that allows you to click 50 MP images. The Oppo N1 Mini will run on the company’s proprietary ColorOS. According to reports, the smartphone could launch with one of two octa-core chipsets – either the MediaTek MT6592 or the Exynos 5422 Octa SoC.

The Oppo N1 features a 5.9-inch full-HD IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 377ppi. It has a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. It is available in 16 GB and 32GB memory variants. The Oppo N1 has a 13 MP camera with dual LED flash, and packs a 3610mAh battery. The device runs Oppo’s Colos OS skin based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, out-of-the-box. The Oppo N1 was launched in India for Rs 39,999.

Earlier this month, Oppo launched the R1 smartphone for Rs 26,990 in India. The Oppo R1 features a 5-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Color OS on top. The smartphone has an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash as well as a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling.
