Oppo launches A75, A75s and A83 smartphones with thin-bezel design, 18:9 display
The smartphones differ slightly in terms of internal storage and the processor. The three smartphones feature a taller 18:9 display aspect ratio and come with a rear placed fingerprint sensor.
Oppo has launched two new smartphones in Taiwan, the Oppo A75 and A75s, along with the Oppo A83 in China. The highlight of the three devices is their thin-bezel design and a taller 18:9 display aspect ratio. The Oppo A75 and A75s come with similar specifications, except for their processors and storage options.
The Oppo A75 is priced at TWD 10,990 (Rs 23,500 approx), whereas the Oppo A75s comes at a price of TWD 11,990 (Rs 24,900 approx). The Oppo A83 has been launched at CNY 1,399 (Rs 13,700 approx). All the three smartphones will soon go on sale in their respective countries, however, there is no information of when the devices will be launched in India.
Coming to the specifications, both, the Oppo A75 and the A75s feature a 6.0-inch Full HD+ LCD display with an 18:9 display aspect ratio. The Oppo A75 and the A75s smartphones are powered by Mediatek chipsets coupled with 4GB RAM. The former runs on the MT6737T Helio P23 SoC whereas the latter is equipped with an MT6763T Helio P23 chipset. Both the Oppo A75 and the A75s are equipped with a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and a 20 MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The Oppo A83 features a 5.7-inch HD+ LCD display and is powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM. It sports a 13MP rear camera sensor and an 8MP front-facing camera.
Both the Oppo A75 and the Oppo A83 feature 32GB of internal storage, whereas the Oppo A75s comes with 64GB ROM. The internal storage on all the smartphones can be further expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. The three devices run on Color OS 3.2 on top of Android 7.1 Nougat, but the A75 and A75s are backed by a 3200mAh battery whereas the A83 packs a 3090mAh battery. They all sport a rear placed fingerprint sensor and in terms of connectivity, they feature Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, and a Micro-USB port for charging.
