Oppo India has announced the launch of its Mirror 5 smartphone for Rs. 15,990. The phone features Snapdragon 410, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.
Oppo India has announced the Oppo Mirror 5 in India. The new phone is being advertised as a "diamond smartphone" by the company due to its unique back cover. Oppo says, the back of the phone features cut-glass sections placed at different reflective angles, put together using ultraviolet embossing technique. The phone is now available and is priced at Rs. 15,990.
Oppo claims, the Mirror 5 is the best solution for photography lovers. The phone features an 8MP camera at the back, which besides taking normal 8MP images, can interpolate six images into a 24MP images. Previous Oppo phones like the Find 7 showcased a similar trick. There is a 5MP camera at the front and Oppo has added 'beauty mode' in the camera software to help you take better Selfies. It is packing a 2420 mAh battery and comes with Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box. However, Oppo has put its own Color OS 2.1 on top of Android.
The Oppo Mirror 5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC. This features a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and has been available in many sub 7K phones for quite some time now. The phone packs in 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, which can be further expanded to 128GB via a microSD card. The 5-inch display on the front has a 960 x 540 resolution, which is no where near to its competitors. The recently reviewed Oppo Neo 5 was similarly overpriced in accordance with its features.
