Oppo introduced the Find X8 series in the Indian market last year with a series of new upgrades and a major focus on cameras. Now, the Chinese smartphone maker is expected to introduce the top-end Oppo Find X8 Ultra variant this year. This comes after a popular tipster stated that the device will debut with a top-notch display with a flat panel.
According to the tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will debut with a flat-screen and narrow bezels, ditching the curved display. The device is expected to come with the LIPO (Low-Injection Pressure Overmolding) technology which will help in narrowing the bezels.
The tipster also claimed that the devices with curved screens have become an old trend and the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will be moving towards the flatter panel. Here are the possible specifications of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra.

According to the reports, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is said to come with a 6.82-inch display and feature an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The device may launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. It may debut with a 6,000 mAh battery and a 100W fast charging support and 50W wireless charging. The device is said to get IP68 + IP69 certifications.
In terms of camera, Oppo will be introducing the Hasselblad-backed camera setup including a 50MP Sony Lytia LYT-900 sensor, 50MP Sony Lytia LYT-701 telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 6x optical zoom and 50MP ultrawide sensor.
As per the reports, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is said to launch in March with the Find X8 Mini. However, the brand has not confirmed the exact launch timeline at the time of writing this article.
Oppo Find X8 comes with a starting price of Rs 69,999 while the Find X8 Pro will be launching at Rs 99,999. For the unversed, the device comes powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip.
