Oppo launched the Oppo Find X7 series in China last month. It seems like Oppo has already started developing the Find X7’s successor, known as the Oppo Find X8. The Oppo Find X8 series is expected to include two smartphone models: the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Ultra.

According to the leak, the Oppo Find X8 handset will likely be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC and an optical fingerprint sensor, reports 91mobiles. For context, the Oppo Find X7 is powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset.

On the other hand, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, and could feature an ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor under the display. For comparison, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
It appears that Oppo is maintaining its strategy of utilising MediaTek SoCs for the standard X-series model while opting for Qualcomm chipsets in the Ultra version.
Currently, no additional specifications about the Oppo Find X8 series have been disclosed. The launch seems to be some distance away, but more information is expected to surface soon. Presently, the Oppo Find X7 is only available in China, with no mention from the company regarding a global launch.
