Oppo has launched the new Find X series smartphones. The launch took place in China on Thursday, where the Chinese brand rolled out the Oppo Find X8 series, which includes two smartphones; the vanilla Find X8 and the Find X8 Pro. Both smartphones are powered by MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9400 processor, which is a 3nm chip. Moreover, Oppo launched the Find X8 in China at a starting price of Rs CNY 4,199 (approx. Rs. 50,000) and the Find X8 Pro for Rs 5,299 (approx Rs. 63,000). The Chinese brand has also promised the Find X8 series to launch in the global market, which also includes India.
Just like every other brand, Oppo has also followed the flat display trend with its Find X8 series. Along with that, it also features a boxy frame, which we have seen in many next-gen flagship phones such as Samsung Galaxy S24, Pixel 9, and many more.
Now, let’s move further with their specifications.
The Oppo Find X8 comes with a 6.59-inch panel, while the Find X8 Pro features a 6.78-inch panel. Both sport the LTPO AMOLED panels with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits of peak brightness. Both smartphones also run on ColorOS 15 UI, which is based on Android 15 OS.
Next, as I mentioned above, both smartphones are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 processor, which is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
For photography, the Find X8 features a triple camera setup, holding a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor with up to 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. On the other hand, the Find X8 Pro comes with a quad camera setup, housing a 50-megapixel main camera, two 50-megapixel periscope telephoto sensors, one with 3x optical zoom and one with 6x optical zoom, and lastly a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens.
Coming to their batteries, the Oppo Find X8 is packed with a 5630mAh battery, while the Pro model boasts a 5910mAh battery. Both smartphones support 80-watt fast charging support and 50-watt wireless charging.
