After its launch in China, the Oppo Find N3 Flip could make its global debut this month. And good news is that it will launch in India too as the smartphone’s product page is already live on the company’s official website. Apart from that, the brand has also confirmed some specifications of the Indian variant Find N3 Flip through a press release. Tipster stufflistings had earlier said that Oppo’s Find N3 Flip will land in the Indian market on 12 October 2023.
I am comparing the Find N3 Flip with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Moto Razr 40 Ultra, which debuted a few months ago and attracted many tech enthusiasts as well.

Oppo Find N3 Flip vs Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 vs Moto Razr 40 Ultra: Design
Oppo is bringing the Find N3 Flip with a quite similar design to its predecessor. Additionally, the brand will also feature an ‘Alert Slider’ on the smartphone. It has a circular camera module on the back that holds three camera sensors and has a ‘Hasselblad’ branding. The Find N3 Flip will come in two colours: Cream Gold and Sleek Black. The foldable smartphone weighs 198 grams and is 7.8mm thin.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a folder-shaped cover display on the back. There are two camera rings on the back placed right with the cover display. It comes in seven colours: Gray, Blue, Green, Mint, Graphite, Lavender, and Cream. When you fold the smartphone, there is Samsung’s branding on the hinge. It comes with an Aluminum frame and has an IPX8 rating against water. It weighs 187 grams and is 6.9mm slim.
The Moto Razr 40 Ultra also comes with an Aluminium frame. This foldable smartphone is available in two colour options: Viva Magenta and Infinite Black. The outer display covers the entire upper half of the back of the smartphone. It shares the same camera sensor placement as the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The Razr 40 Ultra is 7mm thin and weighs 184 grams.

The Oppo Find N3 Flip will launch in India with a 6.8-inch foldable AMOLED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and FHD+ resolution. Along with that, there is a 3.26-inch outer AMOLED display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Unlike the other two foldable, the Find N3 Flip has a rectangular display on the back.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a 6.7-inch foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with FHD+ resolution. It supports 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. The outer AMOLED display measures 3.4-inch.
The Moto Razr 40 Ultra features a 6.9-inch foldable AMOLED display with 10-bit colour, HDR10+, and up to 165Hz refresh rate support. More interestingly, the outer display is a 3.6-inch AMOLED display that supports up to 144Hz refresh rate.

The Oppo Find N3 Flip launched with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset in China, the same is expected in India as well. The SoC is paired with up to 12GB RAM and packed with a 4300mAh battery with 44-watt fast charging support. It runs on the Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor paired with 8GB RAM. It ships with a 3700mAh battery with 25-watt fast charging and 15-watt wireless charging support. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 runs on OneUI 5.1 skin based on Android 13.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset powers the Moto Razr 40 Ultra. It also offers only 8GB of RAM. The Razr 40 Ultra has a 3800mAh battery with 30-watt fast charging support. It also supports 5-watt wireless charging. Google’s Android 13 OS is available in the Razr 40 Ultra.

The Oppo Find N3 Flip comes with a Hasselblad-tuned camera. It has a triple camera setup holding a 50-megapixel OIS primary camera, a 32-megapixel Telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, and a 48-megapixel Ultrawide lens. On the front, it sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a 12-megapixel dual camera setup that includes an OIS main camera and an Ultrawide lens. It features a 10-megapixel front camera.
The Razr 40 Ultra offers a 12-megapixel OIS primary camera and a 13-megapixel Ultrawide lens on the back. For selfies, it has a 32-megapixel sensor.

Oppo has not confirmed the price and availability of the Find N3 Flip yet. However, it is expected to launch around ₹80,000.

The Moto Razr 40 Ultra is available on Amazon with a starting price tag of ₹89,999.
