Let’s take a look at what the devices have to offer
Oppo F9 Pro Specs and design
The Oppo F9 Pro features a 6.3-inch display with a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. It has a 19.5:9 Aspect Ratio and a ‘Waterdrop’ notch design. The notch on the display of the F9 Pro features a single 25MP front camera, earpiece, and light-sensor inside it. OPPO says that it owns 46 patents related to the ‘Waterdrop’ Screen.
The design of the F9 Pro is unique in the way its back panel is coloured. Oppo claims that the phone features a “whole gradient design” which it achieves using Gradient Spraying Technology to create a fusion of different colors and offer gradient color matching options to users. The F9 Pro will have three gradient color combinations —Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue and Starry Purple.
The phone looks sleek, with thin bezels on the sides. A fingerprint sensor is included at the back of the phone, below the dual-camera setup which consists of 16MP+2MP lenses. The main camera uses an aperture of f/1.8, and the assistant camera uses an aperture of f/2.4. Other features of the cameras on the Oppo F9 Pro include – Portrait mode, natural bokeh effect, 3D portrait lighting, AI scene recognition can identify 16 scenes, AI Beauty Technology 2.1, HDR for selfies, and more. The phone runs ColorOS 5.2, based on Android 8.1 and houses a 3,500mAh battery with an AI battery management system to prevent drain. The F9 Pro also features Oppo’s VOOC charging technology. The technology applies a low voltage fast charging mechanism to deliver quick charging. With its standardised configuration 5V/4A, it can achieve a charging speed four-times faster than conventional 5V/1A charging technology. VOOC also ensures a safe charging process. It is claimed to have five layers of protection from the charging adapter to smartphone, including low temperature and voltage.
