Oppo has unveiled its latest smartphone, the Oppo F5 Youth in India. The smartphone was previously released in the Philippines and the company teased it while launching the Oppo F5 in India. A 16MP front-facing camera with AI-based beautification technology and a large thin-bezel display are some of the highlights of the F5 Youth. The smartphone is priced at Rs 16,990 and will be available for purchase both offline and online in India starting December 8.
Coming to the specifications, the Oppo F5 Youth is powered by an Octa-core MT6763T chipset with 3GB of RAM. It sports 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. The smartphone features a 6-inch LTPS TFT Full HD+ display with an 18:9 display aspect ratio.
The Oppo F5 Youth is a dual-SIM smartphone with a dedicated microSD card slot. It runs on ColorOS 3.2 based upon Android 7.1 Nougat.
The device features a 13MP rear camera with a f/2.2 aperture lens and an LED flash. It sports a 16MP front-facing camera with a f/2.0 aperture lens. It is powered by a 3200mAh battery and comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also comes with a Face Unlock feature. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, VoLTE, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro-USB for charging and a 3.5mm audio jack.
