Oppo F1s with 5.5-inch HD display launched at Rs. 17,990
The selfie-centric device sports a 16MP front facing camera with features like Beautify 4.0 and Selfie Panorama
Oppo has launched its selfie centric F1s smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 17,990, the device will be available on sale on Amazon from August 11. The phone is a successor to the F1 and features a 16MP front-facing camera, similar to the one found on the Oppo F1 Plus. Additional features include Beautify 4.0, Selfie Panorama, and inbuilt filters. Besides the larger front camera, the new device sports a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by an octa-core processor MediaTek MT6750 with 3GB of RAM. At the back is a 13MP camera with PDAF and is equipped with a 3075mAh battery. Further, it runs ColorOS 3.0 that is based on Android Lollipop v5.1 and features a fingerprint sensor, which the company claims can unlock the device in 0.22 seconds.
The phone’s predecessor, the F1, was launched back in January this year at Rs. 15,990. The device featured a smaller 5-inch HD display, and was powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC with 3GB of RAM. Instead of the 16MP camera found on the F1s, the original Oppo F1 comes with an 8MP front facing camera. The company also launched the Oppo F1 Plus a few months back. Like the F1s, the device features a 16MP camera, but the F1 Plus sports a 5.5-inch FHD display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 SoC with 4GB of RAM.
