Oppo has launched the selfie-focused, F1 Plus in India. The device is priced at Rs. 26,990 and will be available in the country from mid-April. The highlight of the phone is the 16MP front facing camera with a f/2.0 aperture lens. The device also comes with a number of other selfie-focused features like Selfie Panorama, Beautify 4.0, and the front-facing screen flash. During the launch of the phone, the company also announced Yuvraj Singh as its First Sports Ambassador for this cricket season.
Besides the 16MP front camera, the Oppo F1 Plus comes with an all-metal unibody and a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display. The device is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC with 4GB of RAM. The F1 Plus also comes with 64GB of onboard storage along with a 13MP rear camera. The phone is equipped with a 2850mAh battery and Oppo claims that it is enough for 14 hours and 5 minutes of constant heavy use. It also supports the company’s VOOC Flash Charge technology, which the company says can charge the F1 Plus to 75% with half an hour of charging. The device also comes with a fingerprint scanner and runs Android Lollipop v5.1 with ColorOS 3.0 layered over it. Oppo already launched the F1 in India back in January this year.
