Oppo AI Eraser
Oppo explained that users can remove objects from images by circling them with AI Eraser. The AI will then smartly recognise the circled object and remove it from the image. Afterwards, the eraser will fill in the removed area with “natural-looking content.”
Oppo says that other object removal tools, especially on phones in the Reno 11 series’ price range, produce results that appear noticeably edited, creating unnatural-looking elements. However, the AI Eraser for the Reno 11 series uses advanced generative AI to generate “natural-looking content” to fill the space.

Oppo has announced that the AI Eraser feature will come to the Oppo Reno 11, Reno 11 Pro, and Reno 11F smartphones through an OTA update in early April 2024.
Oppo’s move to roll out this feature to the Reno 11 series comes after OnePlus announced its own AI Eraser tool for the OnePlus smartphones. OnePlus’ AI Eraser tool is available for the OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 11, OnePlus Open, and OnePlus Nord CE 4.
