The Oppo A78 5G has been launched in India and it will be available on Amazon and Oppo’s official website on January 18th. The Oppo A78 5G was launched in China a couple of months ago. The budget Oppo phone will be launching with a few offers such as a 10 per cent cashback and six months NCEMI from ICICI, SBI, BOB, IDFC, ONECARD, and AU FINANCE banks. The Oppo A78 5G seems to be a competitor to the Redmi Note 12 5G.
The Oppo A78 5G will be available on January 18th on Amazon and on Oppo’s official website. The 8GB 128GB variant of the phone will be priced at ₹18,999 onwards.
The Oppo A78 5G comes with a 6.5-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display of the A78 5G supports HD+ and in lab tests delivers an output of 480 nits in low brightness.
The Oppo A78 5G is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 700 5G SoC which is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone also has a feature to increase the RAM which uses idle storage to increase memory.
It has a dual camera setup which is placed under a vertical oval-shaped cutout on the back. The dual camera setup comes with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor but there is no ultrawide camera in the phone. The Oppo A78 has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The Oppo A78 5G packs a 5000mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging support. The phone comes with a modern design which has a glossy stripe on the back and it will launch in two colours; Black and Blue.
