Oppo A77 with 16MP selfie camera, 3200mAh battery launched in Taiwan
The specifications of the A77 are pretty similar to the Oppo F3, sans the dual-front facing camera setup
Oppo A77, the latest selfie-centric smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker is now official. Oppo has announced the launch of A77 on its Taiwanese website and it will be available for preorders starting May 19.
The highlight here is the use of a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, beauty mode 4.0 and portrait mode. The rear camera is a standard 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, phase detect autofocus and dual LED flash. The handset also packs better overall specifications compared to its predecessor.
The Oppo A77 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot. Oppo A77 features metal unibody design and will be available in Gold and Rose Gold colour options.
Oppo A77 is a dual-SIM smartphone with support for one 4G SIM and another 3G SIM in standby. Oppo A77 is backed by a 3200mAh battery and runs ColorOS 3.0, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The handset is priced at NTD 10,990 (approximately Rs. 23,500) and will start shipping to pre-order customers before 31 May.
The specifications of the phone are pretty similar to the Oppo F3 that was launched in India a few weeks back. The only differnet being that theA77 does not come with a dual-front camera setup.
