Oppo will launch the A57 smartphones in India on February 3. The company made the announcement via its social media pages. The price of the device is not yet known, but the device was launched in China in November last year. It is priced at CNY 1,599, which is roughly Rs. 15,800.
The phone sports a 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC with 3GB of RAM. The device is equipped with a 2900mAh battery and offers 32GB of storage, which can be expanded by up to 128GB. Like the Oppo F1s before it, the phone is a selfie-centric device and features a 16MP front camera, while at the back is a 13MP camera. The phone runs ColorOS 3.0, which is based on Android Marshmallow.
Oppo seems to be focusing only on selfie-centric phones. The Oppo F1s, which was launched last year also sports a 16MP front facing camera. The company recently unveiled an upgraded version of the smartphone. The new phone offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. However, the remaining specifications of the phone remains the same.
