Oppo A57, the newest smartphone in Chinese smartphone maker's selfie-centric devices will go on sale today. Oppo A57 is part of company's A series and sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone first unveiled in China in November, was introduced in India last week.
Oppo A57 features a design similar to that of the company's F1 series. The smartphone features a metal unibody design similar to that of an iPhone. The handset has a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
Oppo A57 features a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash. The front camera is a 16MP unit with f/2.0 aperture and 1.12micron pixel size. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording full HD videos.
The Oppo A57 runs Color OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features a front mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone supports dual SIM and is compatible with 4G LTE networks. Oppo A57 is priced at Rs 14,990 and will be available on both online as well as offline retail channels.
