Oppo A31 goes official in China, priced at $160
The A31 features LTE, quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 5MP front facing camera. The smartphone is priced under Rs. 10,000.
Oppo has quietly unveiled its new smartphone in China. Called the Oppo A31, the smartphone is priced at $160, which is roughly Rs. 9975.27.
The Oppo A31 has a 4.5-inch display with 480 x 854 pixel resolution. The smartphone runs Color OS based Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset along with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage and supports additional storage via microSD up to 128GB.
The phone has an 8MP rear camera with f2.2 aperture and LED flash. There's a 5MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include LTE and dual SIM (both support LTE). It is powered by a 2000 mAh battery.
Oppo hasn't revealed when the phone will be launched outside China, but we expect it to come to India very soon. On papers, the Oppo A31 looks like a decent budget smartphone. However, 480 x 854 resolution can be small setback as rivals offer 720p resolutions.
Oppo's new A31 comes shortly after the company launched its Oppo N3 smartphone in India. The smartphone features a 16MP motorized swivel camera that can deliver up to 64MP pictures.
