OnePlus’ highly awaited flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12 could come sooner than we expected. Up until now, we had no news about the launch date but now the China-based company has accidentally revealed the release date of their flagship smartphone, both globally as well as in India. The smartphone is listed on both the OnePlus India as well as global website and reveals certain key details. Let’s find out more about this.
OnePlus 12 expected launch date
OnePlus will celebrate its tenth anniversary on 4th December 2023. A day after that, on 5th December 2023, the OnePlus 12 will be announced. The smartphone, like many others, will first step foot in the Chinese market. After some time, on 24th January 2024, it will be released in India, revealed by OnePlus’ promotional microsite “accidentally”.

The promo page of the smartphone features a video that shares a green-coloured OnePlus 12. It shared how the smartphone is inspired by nature. The microsite also features a subscribe button. If you click on it, you can win a OnePlus product or even the OnePlus 12. Close to this button, you’ll spot a terms and conditions button. If you go to this button on the UK website, it will reveal the campaign duration as November 27, 2023 – January 23, 2024. So, that’s how we get the dates.
The Indian micro website also states that the campaign will end a day before the launch, so that’s how we know it comes out on the 24th of January.

OnePlus 12 expected specifications
The OnePlus 12 is expected to launch in three colour variants: green, black and white. We could get to see a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO BOE X1 OLED screen. For the cameras, we could get a triple camera setup consisting of 50MP+50MP+64MP lenses. Further, we could get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset on the OnePlus 12. Finally for batteries, we could see a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
