OnePlus rolling out OxygenOS 3.5.4 update for OnePlus 3T
The new update brings with it increased stability, bug fixes, and battery optimisations
OnePlus has started rolling out an update for its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 3T. The new update bumps up OxygenOS to version 3.5.4 and brings with it increased system stability, various bug fixes, as well as a bunch of other things. This includes optimisation to reduce lag if the battery is below 5 percent, as well as optimisations to the Battery Saving Mode. The company notes in its forum that the new update will restore GPS and Orientation preferences when the Battery Saving Mode is closed. The update also fixes the flashlight usability issue in WhatsApp.
The OxygenOS v3.5.4 update is being rolled out incrementally, and should be available to a “small percentage” of users right now. However, the company will start a broader rollout over the coming days. Those who received the update are encouraged to send feedback back to the company.
To recall, the OnePlus 3T was launched in India earlier this month and improves upon the OnePlus 3. The new phone is pretty similar to its predecessor, but is powered but a Snapdragon 821 SoC and offers a 16MP front facing camera. It also sports a larger 3400mAh battery.
