All passengers, who book their tickets between September 30th and October 9th for travel period between October 10th to 20th, will be eligible for winning the invites. Additionally, flyers will also stand a chance to win the OnePlus 2 smartphone itself.
AirAsia currently operates in following ten destinations – Bengaluru, Kochi, Goa, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Pune, Vizag, New Delhi, Guwahati and Imphal. OnePlus said in an official blog post that the winners will receive the physical invites on their seats from the crew members of the flight. It is not the first time that OnePlus is running such promotions by collaborating with other brands. The company has partnered with Airtel and OlaCabs earlier. Recently, the company also announced its plans of going for an open sale of OnePlus 2 for one hour. It did not mention the dates for the open sale, but hinted that it might happen some time earlier next month. This move, from the OnePlus team, is aimed to make up for the delay in the shipments of the device. OnePlus 2 is the latest smartphone from the OnePlus team, the successor to the initial flagship killer, the OnePlus One. The 64GB variant of OnePlus 2 is priced at Rs. 24,999 and is available on Amazon while the 16GB variant will be released sometime later.
OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei had earlier hinted that there is possibility of new OnePlus device by the end of this year. He did not reveal much about the device, but as per recent leaks it could be the OnePlus X (Mini). Incidentally, a screenshot of the AnTuTu benchmark of the rumoured OnePlus device with a score of 54311 also appeared on the Internet.
