OnePlus Open new update

As per information shared on the community forum, the latest update is currently exclusive to OnePlus Open users located in India. 

System

  • With the latest update, you can create photo collages without frames in Photos.
  • The update adds a “Partial screenshot” option in the Smart Sidebar.
  • You can now press and hold the Volume Down button to turn the flashlight on when the screen is off.
  • You can now enter the first letter of an app name to perform a fuzzy search from the Home screen search bar in Drawer mode.
  • Also, you can now use the “app-specific volume” feature to adjust the volume for individual apps based on your needs.
  • The update improves the volume bar’s design for ease of use and visual consistency.
  • The OxygenOS 14.0.0.600 update improves system stability.
  • Integrates the March 2024 Android security patch to enhance system security.

Camera

  • After receiving the OxygenOS 14.0.0.600 update, you can switch between more focal lengths by tapping the zoom buttons.
  • You can now use the ultra-wide and telephoto cameras in XPAN mode.
  • The update increases shutter response and improves the snapshot experience.
  • You can now use the zoom wheel to switch between different zoom options when taking videos.

OnePlus mentioned that this OTA update is “incremental.” The update has been released for a small percentage of users, and will start rolling out to more users in a few days. So, if you haven’t received the update yet, just wait a little while.
