OnePlus is just a day ahead of launching its first foldable smartphone in the market. In the latest development, the OnePlus Open has appeared on the FCC certification website and Geekbench listing. This confirmed some of its specifications such as the processor, battery, software version, and more. Let’s get to it.
The OnePlus Open has been spotted by 91mobiles on the FCC certification website. The foldable smartphone is said to come with a squarish design as it measures 153.4 x 142.8 mm, according to the listings.

Further, we spotted the OnePlus Open on the Geekbench listing with the model number CPH2551. The smartphone was operating on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 16GB RAM. Now we don’t know whether the brand will offer more memory variants or not. Additionally, it will have Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 LE support.
Initially, 91mobiles spotted the OnePlus Open on the Geekbench listing but that benchmark test was run on October 16 and the one that we provided was tested today, on October 17. Both of these tests have different scores. The one that 91mobiles had spotted, has a higher score
Moving on, the certification websites also confirmed the battery specifications of the smartphone. The OnePlus Open could launch with a 4805mAh battery along with the support of 80-watt fast charging, which is the fastest for any book-type foldable yet. If compared, the Tecno Phantom V Fold was launched with 45-watt fast charging, and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 offered 25-watt fast charging.

Lastly, the Geekbench listing also revealed that the smartphone would run on Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.2 skin.
That’s pretty much all that was revealed through the FCC certifications and Geekbench listing. However, I feel the brand could refine the Open more by offering the latest Android version and processor. As we all know Android 14 has already been rolled out and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is launching in a couple of days too.
Let’s just wait till tomorrow now and see how the OnePlus Open makes its appearance.
