OnePlus Nord CE 2 has been one of the most popular phones from the company this year. And now months after its launch, the company is ready to bring a new update to make it more appealing to users.
As per reports, the company has started taking applications for a new Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 Open Beta Test for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in India. Users looking to apply can do so by heading to the Settings menu on their Nord CE 2 Lite and then to the 'About Device' menu. After this, head straight for the Beta program button and complete the process by submitting the required information.
After you complete the process, you should get the update in less than five. That is, of course, if your application for the process has been accepted. Once accepted you should have access to all the new features the software version will bring with it.
Talking about the hardware tasked to run the new software on the phone, there's not much to complain about when you put the price into context. The Nord CE 2 Lite 5G packs a 5000 mAh battery and at the front flaunts a 120Hz IPS panel. This screen is 6.59-inches in size and comes with a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner. This panel also comes with Full HD+ resolution which operates at an aspect ratio of 29:9.
Under the hood, the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. The processor is paired with an Adreno 619 GPU for graphics. This has been paired with up to 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. There is support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging as well.
For cameras, the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G comes with a triple-camera setup. The primary camera here is a 64MP sensor with an f/1.7 aperture. Sat next to it is an 8MP ultrawide camera sensor and a 2MP macro camera sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera can shoot up to 1080p30fps videos.
