OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, OnePlus TV Y1S, and Y1S Edge launched in India: Price, specs, and other details

OnePlus TV Y1S Edge comes with an FHD HDR10+ screen, 24W Dolby Audio-backed speakers, dual-band WiFi, Android TV 11 OS, ​​and IoT connectivity with up to 5 devices at a time.

Both OnePlus TV Y1S and OnePlus TV Y1S Edge are available in 32-inch and 43-inch models.

OnePlus India has introed the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G smartphone as well as the OnePlus TV Y1S and OnePlus TV Y1S Edge in India. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC and sports other specifications like a 90Hz AMOLED screen, Oxygen OS based on Android 11, 65W fast charging support, and 64MP triple rear camera stack. Meanwhile, the TVs feature HDR10+ display, 20W speakers supported by Dolby Audio, Android TV 11 software, and a more “accessible connected ecosystem experience” according to the company.

Price and Availability

The OnePlus TV Y1S is available through online outlets (like Amazon, Flipkart and OnePlus.in) whereas the TV Y1S Edge will be hitting OnePlus.in and offline store shelves like Reliance Digital, Croma, etc. The 32-inch model of TV Y1S is priced at ₹16,499 and will be on open sale from February 21 at 12 PM. Meanwhile, the 43-inch variant of TV Y1S comes at ₹26,999 and will be on open sale starting March 2 at 12 PM. As for the Y1S Edge, it's 32-inch unit costs ₹16,999 and 43-inch one carries a price tag of ₹27,999.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will be available in Gray Mirror and Bahamas Blue colors. THe memory configurations are 6+128GB (India only) at ₹23,999 as well as an 8+128GB model. The Indian open sale starts from February 22 through OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store app, Amazon as well as retail partner stores.

Other miscellaneous things you get with the phone are dual-band WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 3.5mm headphone jack, dedicated expandable storage up to 1TB, and USB-C 2.0 ports. The supported 5G bands are SA: 1/3/5/8/40/41/78 and NSA: 1/3/5/8/40/41/77/78.

OnePlus TV Y1S and OnePlus TV Y1S Edge: Specs and Features

These OnePlus TVs come in 32-inch and 43-inch screen sizes. They are an FHD panel with HDR support, a TUV Rheinland Bluelight filter, and slim bezels. The visuals are backed by 24W speaker output with Dolby Audio support. The software is OxygenPlay on top of Android TV 11 core. 

You get to connect devices like the OnePlus Watch and OnePlus Buds to the TV for enjoying the connected ecosystem experience. You can also tether your phone with the TV through the OnePlus Connect 2.0 app without WiFi or data and still cast (over Miracast, DLNA and Chromecast) or control the TV with the phone as the remote control. 

Other things in the mix are dual-band WiFi support, ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) over HDMI, and the option to stream up to 230 Live Channels.
